Creating maps and Finding Best Bottom

On an Onix unit, is it best to use Down Imaging, Side Imaging, 2D? What are you finding?

I'f you're creating a sonar recording, it captures ALL raw data (i.e. down imaging, side imaging, and 2d sonar).

Thanks. I am having issues with my auto chart. I can save the logs but the data does not upload into autochart program. I tried what customer service advised and it still is not working. Any thoughts? My next step is to delete the current software download and start over.

What is it not doing? Some more information, and possibly some screenshots would help us figure out what your problem is.

Have you gone through this tutorial?

For the first time, I received some data on my Autochart pro.  But, it was just a track of where I ran.  It did not download any of the bottom sonar recording.  I still plan on deleting my program and re-downloading.  The tutorials and online video makes this look easy.  For me it is not so I will start over. Thanks for wanting to help.

Ok, I re-installed the program. load in the SD card reader the zero lines chart. Open the program and click on Map here. the box appears like it is suppose to and the itracks appear from my last trip. When i try to import data, the same message appears ERROR: Could not open file

Any suggestions.

Your version is Autochart Pro ? because bottom and side mosaic isn't on a standart version.

ardentangler, I am having the same problem. I could not open or import ZeroLines card sonar log data in AutoChart Pro program on my computer.  Is this not an allowed action?  Could it be that map files can only be uploaded from AutoChart Pro to the ZeroLines card?  ardentangler, did you or anyone else ever find a solution to this problem?

I learned more today. I spoke with Hbird and learned that we need to open the files on AutoChart pro from the Zero Lines card as opposed to importing the data from the SD card into the Auto Chart Pro. Once they showed me how to do it, the data is downloading. I know I was confused because we are all not using the same language. Everyone on videos and on message boards was saying Import the data. so I was trying to Import the data through the Import icon. This may help some of you.
