LakeMaster vs AutoChart mapping images
I found an interesting area in the deep water of Chickamauga Lake in Tennessee, and carefully mapped it with AutoChart. The detail difference is amazing. The upper left blue dot is the head of a ravine between two steep ridges, funneling the deep catfish (in this case) and making it a fishing hot spot. The other two blue dots are set on the long ridge with deeper water to the right.
The area was mapped by using an east-west pattern of passes approx. 20 feet apart. The top map is the original LakeMaster, with the AutoChart overlay following.
This just illustrates how careful mapping of your favorite spots can improve even existing detailed LakeMaster maps.

Great Example the Benefits of Auto Charts. LakeMaster does an amazing job but they are limited by time to scan every detail. That is why AutoCharts is so valuable. Especially in your example where the contours change to 3' in very deep waters. Good Reason to show the benefits of Auto Charts for your favorite areas. A little investment of time recording sonar can provide huge Benefits!
