Settings (tilt, etc)
I am running the standard Auto Chart program and an H-bird 1199.
Under settings in the computer program, are the X, Y, Tilt, and Latency settings only measurable and adjustable in Live Data mode (requiring Onix), or will adjusting them (and checking the "use" button) make adjustments to the map generated on my computer and then transferring to the 1199? Thanks, Eric

Re: Settings (tilt, etc)
I have since played a bunch with the parameters and it does indeed appear that adjusting them and then re-creating the map makes differences in the quality of the map. On my rig, setting the x and y offsets, although the gps receiver and the sonar transducer were only 30" apart, made the map sharper. My transducer must have been close to level, since changing it to 5 degrees was the best image.
